Hi and welcome back for the 2009/10 season. I hope you have had a good summer.
Training sessions now running on Wednesday night at Roman Road 5 pm to 6pm. Weekend training will now alternate between 2 weeks at The Bolierhouse pitch on a Saturday from 10.30am to Midday, followed by one week at Roman Road on a Friday night from 6pm to 7pm. The Friday night sessions are listed below. If we aren't training on a Friday night then we will be on the Saturday and vice versa.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
